None the Dog needs a home

He is 1 years old, and about 50 pounds. He's an American Bulldog that was VERY stressed out in his previous shelter. They definitely pulled on our heartstrings when we went in there, telling us that he'd have to be put down soon because of how poorly he was doing in the shelter. He is very sweet with adults, but we don't know how he is around kids, and so far, depending on the dog, he is aggressive toward them. We went with our hearts instead of our minds when we took him home, not even reading over our lease agreement, which we found out prohibits American Bulldogs. He has been aggressive towards other dogs in our elevator and we are worried that someone will say something to management. We need to find him a home as soon as possible. He really is such a sweet boy and just needs love. We think he would be much better off in a home with a yard, with a family that can give him more exercise than we can with our NYC busy lifestyle.
